Service Attendant

Service Attendants are the face of Flying Star. We take pride in keeping our cafes dining rooms clean, tidy, and attractive for customers. We help customers by answering questions, bringing additional items and connecting them to whatever else they want. We clear dishes, clean tables, and clean floors.

Certified Trainer

We love teaching crew members how to make our wonderful products and become someone we want to have on our team. The steps to become a certified trainer at Flying Star begin with becoming an expert in one or more service or culinary jobs in our cafe. Please let your manager know that you are interested.

General Manager

The General Manager is the Cafe Captain, navigating day to day business challenges while leading our spirited crew members in creating extraordinary customer experiences. Our GMs advance Flying Star Cafe’s culture and values through open and honest actions every day. They support each crew member in the Flying Star world through continuous training and development to enhance expert Cafe knowledge in every area of our unique operations.

  • Minimum of 5 years full-service or fast casual restaurant management experience

Culinary Manager

The Culinary Manager commands the heart of the house—our food. We ensure the quality, safety and freshness of each and every dish and ingredient we serve. We make sure our facility is clean and safe, making it a good place to work. We are uncompromising about every detail that goes into the creation of our delicious, fresh to order dishes. We are passionate about inspiring culinary excellence and expert food handling in each and every crew member.

What we look for:

  • Passion for food and people
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
  • 2+ years of recent full-service or fast casual restaurant management or supervisory experience
  • Experience with breakfast, lunch, and dinner concepts
  • "Cook from scratch" experience
  • Culinary degree a plus

Service Manager

The Service Manager supports the General Manager and Culinary Manager in the day to day Cafe operations and continuous training and development of our crew. These front-of-the-house leaders provide expert direction and ensure that our knowledgeable and friendly crew are ready to deliver the best customer experience at every opportunity.

  • 2+ years of recent full-service or fast casual restaurant management or supervisory experience

Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager works side-by-side with the crew to set the stage and set the pace. These top-notch experts are hands-on in all functions of the café from counter to dining room to kitchen. They supervise, direct, train, & coach every crew member on all fundamentals of the Flying Star experience from our unique service culture to our delish fresh-to-order dishes.

  • Hard working, thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
  • 1 year of recent supervisory experience in restaurants or retail

Home Office Support Team

Our dedicated home office professionals work hard behind-the-scenes to support our cafes. We provide Marketing and Community Events, Accounting, Operational Services, Training, and Human Resources—so that our cafes can concentrate on what they do best…making great food and servicing beautifully. When positions become available in our home office, we’ll post here!
