Flying Star has numerous delicious vegan options. Here is an item by item guide to our menu.
Create your own meal by combining sides and ingredients.
Side Dishes:
- Spicy Pintos
- Organic White or Brown Rice
- Broccoli (hold the butter, sub olive oil)
Salad Dressings:
- House (Tomatillo Vinaigrette)
- Spicy Asian Sesame
- Avocado Vinaigrette
Sauces:
- Marinara (olive oil)
- Chipotle Salsa
- Lo Mein
Vegetarian but not quite vegan:
- Buddha -contains trace amounts of lactose
- Red & Green Chile - both contain trace amounts of lactose
Proteins:
- Tofu
Vegetarian but not quite vegan:
- Black Bean Burger Patty - contains trace amount of egg white
- Soy Chicken Patty - contains trace amount of whey
Breads/Pastries:
- Bagels
- Ugly Muffin (contains honey)
- Sourdough
- Rye
- 9 Grain

What dishes can Vegans select from our menu?
Salads:
- Chinese Crunch - sub tofu, NO WONTONS
- Crave - no cheese or sub cheese for ¼ avocado
- Mediterranean Nosh
- Lite Greens - with Vegan salad dressings (see left)
Sandwiches:
- PB&J with Sourdough, 9-grain, Rye or Bagel
Breakfast:
- Organic Tofu Scramble - with 9 Grain bread or any bagel
- Hot Organic Oatmeal - sub soy milk
Entrees:
- Lo Mein - with tofu
- Buddha Bowl - with tofu (if sauce is acceptable)
