Defined Fitness was started in 1986 in Albuquerque
as a workout facility for the parents and employees of an adjacent
preschool. As physical fitness grew in popularity, Defined Fitness
opened its doors to the general public. In June of 1988, Defined
Fitness moved to a larger location to expand operations. In 1988,
the original owner sold the company to Burt and Trish Fowler
who are still two of the principal shareholders today. |
